Attest Services

A banker, surety, or another creditor, customer, or investor may ask you for a financial statement. As a certified public accounting firm, we can audit, review, or compile your financial statements. Depending on what level of attest service you need, we can assist you to Move Your Company Forward.

An audit is the highest level of assurance a CPA can give on financial statements, followed by a review. In addition, we may also offer a compilation or review. Find out which is right for your company.

Audit Services

An audit is the most extensive level of attest service we provide to our clients. As a CPA firm, we can issue an independent auditors’ report that may state the financial statements are free from material misstatement. An audit includes examining on a test basis, evidence supporting the amounts and disclosures in the financial statements. The end result of our audit procedures is our independent auditors’ report which includes an opinion on your financial statements, communication to those in charge of governance of the entity, and a report on significant deficiencies or material weaknesses.

Review Services

A review is the next level of an attest service we provide to our clients. We offer an independent accountants’ review report that states we performed procedures to obtain limited assurance there are no material modifications that should be made to the financial statements. A review consists primarily of analytical review and inquiry of management. The end result of our review procedures is our independent accountants’ review report and our communication with management on areas of improvement.

Compilation Services

Lastly, we can issue an accountants’ compilation report, which states the objective is to assist management in presenting financial information in the form of financial statements without undertaking or obtaining any assurance there are no material modifications needed. The end result of our compilation procedures is our accountants’ compilation report and if obvious or material adjustments are needed we communicate those changes to you. We may issue a compilation report as an independent or not independent party.

Agreed Upon Procedure Services

On specific occasions and circumstances, we can also provide agreed-upon procedures to specific items that management has designed, implemented, or requested us to render a report on. This type of report is infrequent in nature and addresses specific subject matter or an assertion as a result of a need or needs of specific parties and where the specific parties require independent verification. The end result of agreed-upon procedures is our independent accountants’ report on agreed-upon procedures on the specific subject matter.

All reports can be valuable to a client and may offer substantial insight into your company and suggestions for improvement to Move Your Company Forward. Each service is significantly different than the other and the level of attest service may be dictated by the terms of an investment, credit, franchise or buy/sell agreement.

We have issued financial statements in many industries, including (but not all-inclusive) construction, real estate, residential and commercial audio/visual, technology, staffing, professional employer organizations (“PEO”), professional services, physician/medical practices, manufacturing, fixed-base operator (“FBO”) and start-ups.

On February 25, 2021, we received our latest peer review, with a rating of pass (AICPA peer review ratings are pass, pass with deficiency(ies) or fail).
